This document (“Privacy Policy”) explains the privacy rules applicable to personal data and other information collected or submitted when you access, install, or use NexVPN Services and Websites regardless of the device (computer, mobile phone, tablet, etc.) you use.

The data controller of your personal data, as described in this Privacy Policy, is NexVPN.  (“NexVPN”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

1. PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Information for creating your Account

first name and last name. We ask you for your name to create a user account so that we can use this name in notifications

Username and password. To create our user account, we ask you to enter your unique username and password so that you can use our services on other platforms using these details.

Phone number. We ask for your Phone number as part of your registration. It is necessary for creation of your NexVPN Account, retrieving a lost password, and using the Services.

Information collected on our Websites

Access logs. As most websites on the internet, our Websites collect access logs (such as IP address, browser type, operating system) to operate our Services and ensure their secure, reliable, and robust performance. This information is also essential for fighting against DDoS attacks, scanning, and similar hacking attempts.

Cookies. Cookies, pixels, and other similar technologies are usually small text or image files that are placed on your device when you visit our Websites. Some cookies are essential for our Websites to operate smoothly; others are used to improve Websites’ functionality, analyze aggregated usage statistics to improve Websites’ performance, and for advertising. We also use affiliate cookies to identify the customers referred to our Websites by our partners so that we can grant the referrers their commission. 

2. VPN DATA

What doesn’t NexVPN do with your data?

We DO NOT collect or store any VPN data.
We DO NOT modify the contents of your VPN data.
We DO NOT share any sensitive or user-specific data with third parties.

3.DATA COLLECTION

NexVPN only collects and shares the app's crash logs and diagnostics. Crash log data may for example be, the number of times that your app has crashed, stack traces or other information directly related to a crash. Analytics data may include; how long a user spent on a certain screen in the app. This information is collected and shared by/with Google's own Firebase crashlytics and analytics. This helps in improving the app quality by ensuring any crashes and bugs are fixed. No individually/personally identifying information is collected/shared.

4.CHILDREN’S DATA

We encourage parents and guardians to teach their children about privacy and how their information may be used on the Internet. Children should never disclose their name, address or phone number, or any personal information, without their parents’ or guardian's prior permission.

We consider a user to be a child if they are under the age of 13, unless more stringent regulation applies in their state of residence.

If we consider that any of our services are directed at users under the minimum legal age required in their country of residence, we can block such users from using the services or from providing information and/or limit the collection of information from such users as described below in more details.

No personal information should be submitted to NexVPN by users under the minimum legal age required in their state of residence. We apply the following limitations to personal information collection for a user that does not meet the minimum legal age required in their state of residence.

5.CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We develop our Services and Websites introducing new features or modifying current ones constantly. Therefore, we may need to amend the Privacy Policy from time to time. If the amendments to the Privacy Policy materially affect the activities of our processing of your personal data, we will notify you in advance of such changes by reasonable means (e.g., notification through the respective applications, our Websites, or via email), and we will always indicate the date of the last update.
